Kari Samantha is an American actor, performer and singer (born on April 28, 1967). Wuhrer started her career when she was in her teens. Her most well-known role is for her character Maggie Beckett on the TV show Sliders and also her role as her character, Sheriff Samantha Parker, in the horror comedy film Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer was born within Brookfield Connecticut as the daughter of Karin Noble who was employed as a cashier, as well as German American Andrew Wuhrer. Her father was the eldest of three siblings. When she was young, Wuhrer sang at nightclubs, and then went on to sing. Following her studies in acting at the Wooster School from the age of 13, she was a drama student at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in Marymount Manhattan College and Columbia University. Additionally, she studied in the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts under renowned Uta Hagen. Her birth date was April 28, 1967 in Brookfield Connecticut. Her father is a German American policeman as well as an auto salesman. Kari is the youngest of three siblings. Kari was a nightclub singer when she was just a teenager. Her habit was to sneak away from her home to perform. Kari started studying acting when she was just 13 years old. She then studied drama at Tisch School of the Arts located at New York University and Columbia University. Marymount Manhattan College and The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and with Uta Hagen, a renowned instructor. Kari was first introduced to acting at 13 years old, and received her big break in 1987, when she was featured on MTV Remote Control.
