Torrie, one of the most skilled wrestlers in history, emerged from the sprawling and vast farms in Boise. A budding fitness model in the late 1990s, Wilson's entrance into sports-entertainment was a result of an appearance backstage at WCW with her then-boyfriend. Wilson ended up accompanying Scott Steiner to the ring and was working in the ring for almost a decade in the years following. Wilson was also the manager of the competitors David Flair (occasionally), Billy Kidman, Shanth Douglas as well as The Filthy Children while she competed in the WCW circuit. Wilson became a part of WWE following the spring 2001 acquisition of WCW.
