Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah works as an Indian playback actress, singer and musician. Her work is primarily in Tamil or Malayalam films. Annayum Rasoolum was her Malayalam as well as Tamil acting debuts. Andrea Jeremiah was born into an Anglo-Indian family in Arakkonam the capital of Tamil Nadu.Andrea's father is a lawyer at the Madras High Court. Her sister, who is younger, is an assistant researcher from Belgium who lives in Leuven. Jeremiah was raised within Chennai. He went to National Public School. After graduation, he studied at Women's Christian College. Andrea was able to learn the piano classically in her 8th year. Young Stars was the Jackson Five band Andrea joined after turning age 10. This led to her first singing career as well as her first music composition. She appeared as an actor at the college, in a variety of productions that were put on through The Madras Players or EVAM. Following her performance of a song for Gautham Vasudev Menon's Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu she was asked to appear in the role of a lead female character in his next film Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea is Kalyani who is married and mother to a man who has an affair. Andrea was approached following Simran shobana and Tabu. The film came out in the beginning of 2010. In August 2011 Venkat Prabhu made his debut with the multi-starrer Mankatha. It was her turn to fill a smaller part in the film. She made her Malayalam debut in a film with Rajeeev's Annayum Rasoolum in the year 2013.
