Angela Gossow Urach
Angela Gossow grew up in Cologne along with her three siblings. She was 17 when her parents split up. As their business fell apart, she faced more problems with finances. Bulimia and anorexic eating contributed to her problems. When asked about her decision to quit as ARCH ENEMY's singer Gossow said simply There's an appropriate time and space for all things. The whole thing began in the year 1991. In the end, I had began to lose interest in having to live a in a constantly changing environment. In order to avoid pretending I had a break, I decided to quit. Johan Liiva was the original frontman of the group Johan Liiva was replaced in 2000 by German singer Angela Gossow. The track You're the Voice was first recorded at the age of 1986 with Australian musician John Farnham. It became popular not just in Australia however, but also in Ireland and UK. She was in turn the lead singer and a founding band member of Canadian metalcore group the Agonist. Arch Enemy each has their chapters that are renowned for different reasons.
