Dua Lipa was born 22nd august 1995, in London, the United Kingdom. The model signed with Warner Bros Records after a few years of working and put out a self-titled album in the year 2017. The album climbed up to the third position on the U.K. Chart for Albums. The album released eight singles and included Be the Only I.D.G.A.F. and New Rules (UK number one). It also peaked at number 6 on the charts in the United States. Lipa has been awarded the Brit Awards as a British Female solo artist and British breakthrough act in 2018. Dua Lipa, who was born to Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa A Rexha Lipa and Dukagjin Dukagjin in London Born on August 22, 1995. Her maternal grandmother is the reason she is of Bosnian descent. It is possible to trace her family's roots back to Peja the city of Kosovo. Her grandfathers were both historians. She has a brother Gjin Lipa, and a younger sister Rina. Lipa was musically influenced by her father who is the principal guitar player and the singer of The Kosovan band Oda. When she was at home with her parents, her father would perform his original compositions, along with songs from David Bowie Bob Dylan Radiohead Stereophonics Stereophonics. Lipa was just five years old when she first began to sing. She attended the Sylvia Young Theater School was where she first began singing at the age of nine. She released her first single New Love in August of 2015.
